- Tes Hilaire grew up on the northern edge of the remote Adirondack region of Upstate New York, where she spent many of her extracurricular hours exploring the gorgeous area via hiking, skiing, and horseback riding. The quaint town that she grew up in was a pleasant mix of ‘the place that time forgot’ and a bustling culture treasure trove due to having three major colleges in close proximity. One of her favorite things to do on one of the many cold snowy days that descended upon her quiet home town—and there were many—was to lose herself in the pages of a book, either one she was reading or one she was penning for fun. Now, living in the Southern Tier area of New York, the number of frigid cold days are somewhat reduced, but not her love for reading and writing. She has completed manuscripts in the romantic suspense, paranormal romance and fantasy genres which have finaled in nine RWA chapter contests.
